The State of Alabama and Governor Ivey must be aware of the success we are having with Showcase Mobile. The State has started an initiative for universities and cities around the State to host events for students within the State highlighting what each city has to offer. The University of Alabama will be hosting a virtual event highlighting all of the great opportunities in Mobile, particularly for graduates of the University. The virtual event is scheduled for April 8 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Mayor Sandy Stimpson and our President, Tom Loper, are scheduled to provide opening remarks. The keynote speaker will be our former secretary, James Fowler, V.P. at Cooper T. Smith and our Chapter’s current vice-president, Barret Hails, attorney at Phelps Dunbar LLP, will join a distinguished panel of professionals from around Mobile to discuss the many opportunities right here at home.
