Welcome to the Mobile Chapter of The University of Alabama National Alumni Association!

Dear Alumni and Friends,

Thank you for visiting the Mobile Chapter of The University of Alabama’s National Alumni Association. It is my honor to serve you as the chapter President.

Our chapter’s mission is to support high school students with information and scholarship opportunities to help them get to The University of Alabama. Each year, the chapter hosts A$AP sessions to provide students and their families with the information they need to make informed decisions on their way to the Capstone. Additionally, we refer area students to the Discovering BAMA program which provides them and their families with personalized tours of the campus tailored to their educational interests. Finally, with your continued support of this chapter, we’re able to award over 15 scholarships totaling more than $30,000 each year. For this, we sincerely thank you for choosing to be a member of this chapter, and if you’re not currently a member, we ask that you please consider joining.

Our chapter’s involvement does not stop there. Annually, we host Showcase Mobile that connects area industries with current students and recent graduates of UA. The event promotes Mobile and the Alabama Gulf Coast to students and graduates that are looking to start their careers or build up their experience through internships or CO-OP’s. Showcase Mobile also supports our local industries with highly sought-after talent from the state’s flagship university. On average, the event draws more than 25 area companies from a breadth of industries each year.

Lastly, our chapter hosts events for our alumni and friends to gather and support our Crimson Tide. Whether it’s a watch party at an area BBQ joint, or an opportunity to watch the Tide in person when they’re in Mobile, our chapter loves getting our members and friends together for a good time. We’ve also been known to do some trivia so brush up on your knowledge of all things UA!
